My brother Jeff is the art director for Stones Throw Records. This cool label was started by his childhood friend Chris, known in the DJ world as Peanut Butter Wolf.
A few years ago at the Stones Throw website they hosted a contest offering PB Wolf's prom tuxedo, free for the lending, to any who requested it. Ultimately the baby-blue garment experienced more of a journey than had been anticipated.
Jeff maintains the STONES THROW website and designs all their music releases. He was recently interviewed for a FINANCIAL TIMES article about the future of album design in the digital age. He was also profiled by FLOW MAGAZINE, who presents an interview illustrated with six years of his design work.
Jeff's mom says he started doodling before he could write. So just imagine that the sword he's holding on my home page is actually a pen.
